Residing on the sofa

Bob was released from the hospital today. He is at home residing on his sofa. He says he is going to stay there so that no sofa thief can steal it. He is uncomfortable but in no great pain. He goes back to the doctor in a couple of weeks to check his medications.
Me, I'm going to sleep for a week and then I am going to pick up my stitching. I have stitched barely anything in the past two weeks or so. What few stitches I have put in have been pulled out because a frog came and perched on my shoulder. The little monster was much too comfortable I guess.
Hopefully I will have stitching photos in a few days.
DH and I are flying back to Arizona on Monday to continue our winter stay. We will spend some quality time with our younger son and two grandsons before we leave.
Thank you everyone who has kept up with our son's situation. It is appreciated.
Stitching friends are the best!!!!!!

This is such great news, Kathy! I'm so happy that he was strong and had a positive attitude so that his surgery could go so well. And such loving and strong family all around. And yes...everyone deserves to sleep now for a week...restful, blessed and grateful.

Great news Kathy!! I'm so glad that your son's surgery was so successful and he is on the mend. It must be a huge relief for you.
Those frogs knew you wouldn't be paying attention much with all that was on your mind so they just sneaked in. Time to send them on their way now!

Glad all went so well and have a long winter's nap and safe trip home. By the way, think most of your frogs have moved down here, perhaps to enjoy some warmer weather?

Love to you both, Debby

Dear Kathy, I can't keep up with you! But, I'm so happy for you that Bob is doing well. I think you might be back in AZ by now, and I hope your stitching package has made its way to you there. Maybe you really did need a stitch break for a couple of weeks. I'm hoping you will trust me to put in your last lady on your Mira piece now that I'm home. Love and hugs..
